Why you need to read this fic: Set right after the end of Season 5, this fic answers a lot of what if? What if Amy couldn’t take Sheldon’s desire to stay homeostasis anymore? What if she decided to break things off? What if the break-up was the kick in the pants Sheldon needed to start acting on his feelings? In the light of what happened in The Love Spell Potential, this fic might seem outdated, but it remains the best of the kind. Sheldon and Amy’s way back to each other isn’t easy, but then again, nothing ever is with Sheldon and Amy, is it? and it makes it all the more realistic. It’s also well written and has enough of “awww” moments to keep you warm even in the cold Switzerland.

No offense to any other writers out there but THIS IS my favorite fan fic! It was well written and stayed true to character and I was just full of emotion!

this is what i love about shamy

i am not saying that mayim is ugly at all (ARE YOU KIDDING ME SHE IS A GODDESS AND I WANT TO BE HER)

but they do try to make amy kind of dumpy looking

and they have never made amy go through some kind of “transformation” to match her up with penny’s more mainstream attractiveness or to make her more worthy of sheldon

Also this is why I never ever want Amy to get a makeover. She is beautiful and I don’t want to see her change for a silly tv trope.
